Simak penjelasan soal\u00a0 Trend Populer atmosfer Unggul ini.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;MJO yang Pada Di waktu ini berada di fase 3 (Indian Ocean) dapat Menyajikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap musim kemarau yang Baru saja berlangsung,&#8221; ungkap BMKG\u00a0dalam Prospek Cuaca Mingguan Periode 9\u00a0Sampai sekarang 15 Juli.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sekalipun umumnya musim kemarau ditandai dengan cuaca kering dan minim hujan, fase MJO ini bisa mempengaruhi pola cuaca dengan Mengoptimalkan kemungkinan adanya periode hujan yang lebih intens atau tidak biasa selama musim kemarau, terutama pada puncak musim kemarau.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!-- s: parallax --><br \/>\n<!-- e: parallax --><\/p>\n<p>Untuk periode sepekan ke depan, BMKG\u00a0memprakirakan potensi hujan Baru saja\u00a0Sampai sekarang lebat, termasuk akibat MJO, hadir terutama di Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua,\u00a0minus Jawa.<\/p>\n<p><!-- s: static_detail --><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<p><!-- e: static_detail --><\/p>\n<p>Wilayah Jawa, termasuk Jakarta dan Jabar, Diprediksi hanya masuk daerah potensi dampak dari bahaya hujan lebat Kategori Waspada.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"apa-sih-mjoitu--0\">Apa sih MJO\u00a0itu?<\/h2>\n<p>MJO, menurut Pusat Meteorologi Maritim BMKG, Merupakan &#8220;aktivitas intra-seasonal yang terjadi di wilayah tropis yang dapat dikenali berupa adanya pergerakan aktivitas konveksi yang bergerak ke arah timur dari Samudera Hindia ke Samudera Pasifik yang biasanya muncul setiap 30 sampai 40 hari.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Masih bingung kan?<\/p>\n<p>Mulanya, kata Badan Meteorologi\u00a0Inggris Raya (Met Office),\u00a0dua peneliti di American National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Roland Madden dan Paul Julian, menggelar studi terhadap angin tropis dan pola tekanan pada 1971.<\/p>\n<p>Saat itu,\u00a0mereka menemukan osilasi (gerakan, goyangan) teratur di dalam angin antara Singapura dan Kepulauan Kanton di wilayah barat ke tengah khatulistiwa. Nama belakang keduanya pun resmi jadi merek Trend Populer atmosfer ini.<\/p>\n<p>Aktivitas MJO\u00a0diketahui dimulai pertama kali lewat hujan yang muncul di wilayah barat Samudra Hindia, yang kemudian menyebar Sampai sekarang ke timur ke wilayah dengan perairan yang lebih hangat di area Pasifik tropis.<\/p>\n<p>Pola hujan tropis\u00a0ini cenderung kehilangan identitasnya saat bergerak di atas perairan yang lebih dingin di sebelah timur Pasifik, sebelum muncul kembali di titik tertentu di atas Samudra Hindia.<\/p>\n<p>Fase basah peningkatan konveksi (curah hujan) lalu diikuti dengan fase kering, di mana aktivitas badai petir ditekan (tidak ada hujan). Setiap siklus berlangsung kurang lebih 30-60 hari dan terdapat 8 fase.<\/p>\n<p>Delapan fase tersebut antara lain:<\/p>\n<p>Fase 1: Peningkatan konveksi (naiknya udara membawa uap air) berkembang di atas Samudra Hindia sebelah barat.<\/p>\n<p>Fase 2-3: Peningkatan konveksi bergerak secara perlahan ke arah timur di atas Afrika, Samudra Hindia, dan beberapa area di subkontinen\u00a0India.<\/p>\n<p>Fase 4-5: Peningkatan konveksi mencapai\u00a0benua maritim seperti Indonesia dan sebelah barat Pasifik.<\/p>\n<p>Fase 6-7-8: Peningkatan konveksi bergerak lebih jauh ke timur ke arah barat Pasifik dan berakhir di tengah Pasifik untuk memulai lagi fase MJO berikutnya.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"bikin-anomali\">Bikin anomali<\/h2>\n<p>Suci Pratiwi\u00a0dari Pusat Informasi Pergantian Iklim BMKG, pada makalahnya, menyebut karakteristik utama MJO\u00a0Merupakan adanya wilayah peningkatan dan penurunan curah hujan yang bergerak berpasangan mengelilingi Bumi dari barat ke timur.<\/p>\n<p>Ini umumnya terjadi di sepanjang Samudera Hindia Sampai sekarang Samudera Pasifik.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trend Populer ini sangat berdampak terhadap kondisi anomali curah hujan di wilayah yang dilaluinya,&#8221; ujar Ia.<\/p>\n<p>Pada penelitian\u00a0yang menggunakan data curah hujan Climate Hazards Group Infrared Precipitation with Station data (CHIRPS) ini, Suci menyebut\u00a0MJO aktif memberi pengaruh berbeda terhadap kondisi curah hujan di\u00a0di setiap wilayah.<\/p>\n<p>Justru, ia mewanti-wanti potensi curah hujan tinggi ketika MJO memasuki periode Desember-Januari-Februari pada fase 3 dan 4.
